Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-01

Beta draft. AdLib is in private beta. These terms are provisional and may be updated as the product evolves. They are not legal advice; counsel review is required before public launch.

1. Who we are

AdLib ("AdLib", "we", "us") is a product of The Interactive Studio. AdLib is an advertising research tool that lets users discover, save and analyze advertising campaigns from public sources such as the Meta Ad Library.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using AdLib (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-product or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

3. Beta status

The Service is currently provided as a private beta. Features, data and availability may change without notice. Data you create (collections, follows, saves) may be migrated, reset or deleted during the beta. We will notify beta users before any destructive change where reasonably possible.

4. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login email secure. We use email magic-codes for sign-in; do not share codes with anyone.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
  • Scrape, copy or redistribute the Service or its data in bulk, or build a competing dataset.
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Upload or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory or that contains malware.
  • Use ad creatives surfaced via AdLib in ways that violate the original platform's terms (e.g. Meta Platform Terms, Meta Ad Library API Terms).

6. Third-party content & attribution

AdLib surfaces advertising creatives and metadata that originate from third parties, principally the Meta Ad Library. Those creatives remain the intellectual property of their respective rights holders. AdLib displays them for research, transparency and editorial commentary, with attribution and a link back to the original source where available.

We do not claim ownership of third-party creatives. If you are a rights holder and believe content surfaced through AdLib should be removed, see Section 9.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create in AdLib (collection names, notes, comments). You grant us a limited licence to host, display and process that content for the purpose of operating the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you upload.

8. Subscriptions & pricing

During the beta the Service is free. Paid plans (Pro, Team) will be introduced before general availability. We will give existing beta users at least 14 days' notice before any plan-related changes affect them.

9. Takedown & rights complaints

If you are a rights holder (or their authorized agent) and want a creative removed from AdLib, send a written notice to legal@theinteractive.studio including:

  • Your name, organisation, role and contact details.
  • Identification of the work concerned and the AdLib URL where it appears.
  • The original source URL (e.g. Meta Ad Library snapshot) where applicable.
  • A statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act.

We aim to respond within 5 business days. We may also remove content proactively where we have reason to believe it infringes third-party rights or violates the originating platform's terms.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by emailing legal@theinteractive.studio. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. AdLib does not guarantee that creatives or metadata are complete, accurate or up-to-date.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither AdLib nor The Interactive Studio will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence apply.
